Solva Harbour By Drone

We were lucky enough to spend a beautiful August bank holiday weekend in Solva, Pembrokeshire in Wales. Solva is a bustling village with a fantastic selection of cafes, restaurants and pubs. There are art galleries, delis and gift shops and a good selection of B&Bs, guesthouses and self catering accommodation. It also offers many caravan and camping sites in the area – perfect to take you campervan to!

Solva Harbour is a perfect spot to try out water sports. The water is tranquil and calm and the car park is large with plenty of spaces – a fantastic place to take your canoes and kayaks to. The bathing area here is very shallow making it very good for families with small children too.

This August bank holiday, it was so sunny and still that we had to capture it by drone. Here are the results!

DJI Mavic Mini Review

The drone used in this video is the DJI Mavic Mini Fly More Combo. The combo pack for this drone offers three batteries, rather than the standard one battery option. If you are considering buying this drone we would definitely recommend upgrading to the combo pack, the extra batteries come in extremely handy! When this drone reached heights above the nearby cliffs it encountered very high winds – but this drone handled the winds fantastically, especially considering its small size. The DJI Mavic Mini punches well above its weight compared to many of the more expensive drones outside of its price bracket.
